A tax-exempt sale needs a valid certificate on file. ExemptGuard adds an upload form to your storefront so buyers send their certificate themselves. You confirm the state, number and expiry, and the form is checked against the state, including multi-state MTC and SSUTA forms. Expired, invalid and pending certificates are flagged on your dashboard, with a history of every upload, approval and change. Approved buyers can be set tax-exempt. Download the register as a print page, CSV or JSON.
